Actress Eva Mendes shares her childhood career goals, her families Thanksgiving traditions and she shows George how she recently used a leaf blower on "Lopez Tonight."
Eva demonstrates why a leaf blower was involved in her most recent viral music video Har Mar Superstars.
Eva: "This video was shot for no money, so when you don't have money...as a lot of us know...you've got to get creative, right? To get this cool special affect we basically used a leaf blower."
Eva on wanting to be a nun:
George: "So when you were 12, I saw this, you wanted to be a nun?"
Eva: "That is true. I wanted to be a nun."
George: "But how though? How do you get that? Are you watching tv and you think it looks hip?"
Eva: "No...the thing is I was really prude as a child, which I guess is a good thing. When I was five I said I wanted to be a nun. I don't know why I had a fascination with nuns. But then, we grew up in...not a poor, poor family but lower middle class. A lot of bills so my mother was always stressed about money and stuff. I would promise her...mom im gonna buy you a house and pay all of your bills one day. Then my older sister one day said 'how are you gonna do all this? Don't you know nuns don't get paid?' "
Eva on her Thanksgiving tradition:
Eva: "One thing we do every year is we do pajama Thanksgiving...where we come in our pajamas. It's like flannel pajamas...mom and grandma."

George: "So being a life long New Yorker...you finally went to your first baseball game..you went to the World Series game 6, which they won. So your first game you saw the Yankees win the world championship. First game ever and you sang the national anthem and they won, which means you're the lucky charm now."
Mary: "I took my kids and we had a blast. We sat in....I guess the seats, I don't know what they call them. I've never been to a baseball game before so I don't know what those seats are called. My kids and I...we had a ball. It was freezing but we ate like four or five hot dogs and cookies and hot chocolate and we kept going in and out of the restaurant. We rolled out of there we just ate so much and they had a great time."
"Lopez Tonight" airs Monday-Thursday at 11 PM ET/ 10 PM CT on TBS.
