The dark comedy is based on the U.S. Army's true story efforts to train a unit of psychic soldiers. The comedic effect is underlined by director Grant Heslov's clever weaving of Star Wars references inside the "Goats" script, which sees a bemused reporter (Ewan McGregor) accompany a paranormal operative (George Clooney) to the desert war.McGregor, who once played a Jedi a long time ago in a galaxy far away, plays it straight-faced and clueless when Clooney's character Lyn asks him "Do you want to be a Jedi warrior?" On the show last night, Conan also encouraged his staff to bring in their leftover candy, which was turned into an awesome coat for Andy to wear that can supply candy for the whole audience.
