Discovery's Mythbusters turns up the heat for the October 28th episode, "Greased Lightning."
This episode is all about burn, baby, burn. Things get hot as the team dives into hell’s kitchen - literally.
Adam and Jamie question if throwing an eight ounce cup of water onto a kitchen stove will create a 30-foot fireball.
After small scale tests are complete, the create an “extreme” kitchen to test their theory and have some fun with basic kitchen ingredients: water, oil and fire.
Later, Kari, Tory and Grant re-enact a myth instigated by the John Cusack 1997 film, "Grosse Point Blank" where Felix La PuBelle blows up a convenience store by placing a block of C4 into a microwave and setting the timer to one minute.
As the clock hits zero, the block explodes. Is this just a case of movie magic or does the microwave have the power?
