Ashlee Simpson and Colin Egglesfield evicted from 'Melrose Place'

The new "Melrose Place" on the CW had a shake up in the cast, announced today and confirmed by the network. And once that murder mystery was solved, she would go on her way. That was the original plan going into the development of the show.".The two shared that Ashlee and Colin took the news "like professionals."Some people might wonder why you’re fixing what’s not broken. Personally, I love the show.The writers also tipped the upcoming action, revealing that a new irreverent resident doctor at the hospital "will mix it up" and move into the building. Billy Campbell was cast as Locklear's Amanda's new love interest too.
