Portly papa of eight, Jon Gosselin, is reportedly charging upwards of $12,000 for personal appearance fees to commiserate about his ex Kate.
Now that his TLC show, “Jon & Kate Plus Eight,” is pretty much dead in the water, and the executives from that network have written him off faster than a real estate loss on Donald Trump's tax return and are actually suing him, the reality star dad is hoping to earn some cash making appearances, anywhere that will have him.
Tampa’s 93.3 FLZ MJ Morning Show told Access Hollywood that the station contacted Gosselin’ "people" for an interview. Allegedly the radio station offered first-class airfare tickets, full limo service and first-class hotel accommodations. But Jon wanted a PA fee on top of it.
MJ Morning Show co-host “Hurricane” told Access that they offered Gosselin two gift cards to Applebee’s, but that went over like a lead balloon.
Access claims the "people" for Jon asked for an “appearance fee, in the 10-12K range."
”[Jon’s] name and appearance on your show will instantly draw press ... and will be a high point for the show,” adding that Gosselin was “quite funny, sharp witted and interesting.”
Allegedly “Hurricane” is mulling over the fee and may actually pay it, to "get" Gosselin.
According to Access Hollywood, Gosselin's camp claims that it was all a lie, saying, “Not true, radio looking for press off Jon. We turned them down”
