Since we fell in love with her in "E.T.," she has appeared in so many different genres of film, from a deadly vamp in "Poison Ivy" to holding her own for laughs against Adam Sandler in "50 First Dates." Her recent "Grey Gardens" effort on HBO earned her an Emmy nomination, and showed how well she can deliver a dramatic role to the screen.
Barrymore's elastic acting chops served her well last night on "Saturday Night Live", appearing on the long-running "live from New York" comedy skit show for nine episodes now.
NBC fired us the highlights from last night’s show hosted by Barrymore.
The clips include Drew playing opposite Kristen Wiig’s now-famous character of Gilly, two performances by Regina Spektor plus the cold open which has President Obama, riding his recent good luck, winning the Powerball!
