CNN Larry King's court of public opinion was where Jon Gosselin's allegedly sketchy attorney Mark Heller pleaded his case for the portly papa of eight, frosted that TLC cut him off the TV show that made him famous.
Kate’s lawyer now has shared with several new outlets that papa Jon Gosselin, recently seen swilling milkshakes in West Hollywood, cleaned out the family bank accounts of $200,000.
Only $1,000 was left for Kate and her eight in the joint account
Marty Singer wrote the scathing letter outlining the misdeeds, which Internet police TMZ.com obtained a full copy. In the letter, Singer excoriates Jon raiding a joint account "of hundreds of thousands of dollars," leaving only about $1,000.
Singer claims this act violates the Arbitration Award in the divorce which requires both parties to agree before any money is withdrawn.
Singer claims both Jon and his lawyer, Mark Heller, "are hypocrites" after their televised Larry King, "it's all about the kids," dog and pony show.
Singer claims Heller is a dodgy practicioner of the law, citing a New York Supreme Court decision laying out how Heller directed one of his clients in a divorce to "withdraw everything that's in the bank" so the money could be used to pay his fee.
Heller, according to Singer, has "thirty-eight counts alleging multiple violations of the disciplinary rules." Singer goes on to claim Heller admitted to engaging in "professional misconduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation." TMZ+report
TLC series' executives released harsh statements about Jon Gosselin and his behavior, supporting the continuation of the series without him.
The network's announcement on Sept. 29 that Jon was being dropped from the show spurred the Larry King appearance with attorney Heller, who Jon claimed that along with the Glassmans, the Hellers "were like family to me now."
