truTV fans can save this for their smallscreen viewing.  The following are the highlights for the month of October.

THE SMOKING GUN PRESENTS: WORLD’S DUMBEST

One-hour series launching sixth season Thursday, Oct. 1, at 9 p.m.

Stupid has never been funnier.  Such personalities as Danny Bonaduce, Leif Garrett, Judy Gold, Chuck Nice, Tonya Harding and Natalie Desselle entertain as they show footage and make hilarious commentary about the most idiotic criminals, drivers, fans, daredevils, competitions and partiers.

This series is based on thesmokinggun.com, one of the most respected and entertaining sites on the internet.

SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK

Half-hour series launching second season Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10 and 10:30 p.m.

In this companion show to SPEEDERS, emotional motorists square off in court against the police officers who caught them breaking the rules of the road.  With crazy defenses and outrageous alibis, the accused motorists prove they will do and say anything to get out of the ticket.

This season, drivers who have been nabbed speeding will take their fight to the courtroom of a newly appointed judge, Mayor David Heilmann.

Heilmann wields double authority as both a judge and the Mayor of Oak Lawn, Ill.  His unconventional means of enforcing law and witty humor will bring a fresh face to the second season of this popular series.

TOP 20 MOST SHOCKING

One-hour series launching Saturday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m.

From “Women Out of Control” to “Whackos at the Wheel” each hour-long episode showcases a unique theme, with more than 20 clips combined with dramatic firsthand accounts, all working their way to claim the top spot in the countdown.

BAIT CAR

Half-hour series continues second season in New Orleans Monday, Oct. 19, at 8 and 8:30 p.m.

This popular series heads to the Big Easy to show what happens when real car thieves are caught in the act.  Putting temptation directly in their path, police lure criminals with a high-tech decoy car, rigged with hidden cameras and sophisticated radio trackers.  Viewers get to see all the action, from the moment the car is stolen to the inevitable bust.

ALL WORKED UP

Half-hour series launching Monday, Oct. 19 at 9 and 9:30 p.m.

This series showcases the first-person stories of a recurring cast of characters working jobs that frequently find them trying to calm down the people they deal with on a daily basis.

Whether repossessing someone’s prized possessions, towing illegally parked cars or delivering court papers to people who don’t want to be found, the show’s hard workers are constantly in the line of fire from an angry public. No matter how outrageous the situation or ridiculous the encounter, these professionals have been there, done that and lived to tell about it.

IT ONLY HURTS WHEN I LAUGH

Half-hour series premiering Thursday, October 22 at 10 and 10:30 p.m.

This new series from producer Brad Lachman (Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel, Don’t Forget the Lyrics) gives viewers exclusive access to the “funniest clips” of people in the craziest situations, zaniest stunts and dumbest moments caught on tape.

MOST DARING

One-hour series launching sixth season Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 9 p.m.

Producer Bruce Nash is the force behind this series, which features extraordinarily heroic rescue attempts caught on video.  It focuses on regular people and officers who, against all odds, put their lives on the line to rescue others.  Each episode weaves the stories of unforgettable rescue missions from the perspectives of hero and victim.
