Like a bad habit, Jon Gosselin was kicked to the curb, dropped like a hot potato and scraped off the shoes of his estranged soon-to-be-ex and the creatives behind "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
TLC dropped the bomb this Tuesday that the end of days for Jon is November 2.
Thus was born: Kate Plus 8.
“Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on,” an insider source told People.
The Gosselin marriage has been in a free-fall for at least a year, ramping up in recent months as Jon's affairs became tabloid fodder.
Kate Gosselin has also reportedly taped a pilot for a new talk show featuring Food Network's Southern cooking star, Paula Deen
