HBO's satirical smallscreen salon host Bill Maher was on the Jay Leno Show, Monday night.

Maher's HBO show "Real Time with Bill Maher" is a Friday ratings hit for the network, as Bill hosts a wide swath of notable guests who tackle issues from varying perspectives.  Maher's signature "New Rules" closes the show with humorous observation and an always poignant commentary by Maher.

NBC fired over his interview in two parts.
