Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible will be back in Los Angeles.

Fandom Charities and Whedonopolis.com have announced their 2nd Annual Halloween Charity Screening of the Emmy Award-winning Internet sensation Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. This year’s screening will be held Friday October 30th at 9PM, at the Regency Fairfax Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, and will include a screening of Season 2 of Felicia Day’s hit Internet series, The Guild. The event will raise funds for Kids Need To Read (www.kidsneedtoread.org). Established in 2007, by children’s author PJ Haarsma and actor Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Serenity, Castle), KNTR is a 501(c)(3) charity created to provide children’s books to libraries in need and to foster a love of reading in children Last year's Halloween screening raised over $4,200.00 for PATH Ventures (www.pathventures.org), a Los Angeles charity dedicated to helping alleviate homelessness, and was attended by creator Joss Whedon and co-writers, Jed & Zach Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, as well as several cast members, including Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day. According to Whedonopolis, tickets for the event will cost $20.00 and include an interactive goodie bag designed to encourage audience participation, as well as special commemorative items and special prizes, including random gift cards from Sideshow Collectibles, raging from $25.00 to $100.00.
