The Ashton Kutcher-produced CW series, "The Beautiful Life" came and went so fast it never registered.
Only two episodes aired.
The first cancellation of the smallscreen fall season was first announced by the Los Angeles Times.
The series starred troubled actress Mischa Barton, who was confined to involuntary psychiatric hold for various drug-related mental health issues. Her publicized problems gave the series some publicity prior to the air date.
According to The Nielsen Company, the show had 1.5 million viewers, which reportedly dropped to 1 million last Wednesday night.
The CW announced that reruns of "Melrose Place" will air in its time slot.
