Randy Jackson fired up over Ellen

Master and commander of the reality crew dance competition, "Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew" and resident "dawg" judge on FOX's "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson was ebullient over Ellen slotting in for Paula.

Jackson was the grease on the whole Ellen DeGeneres bonfire, telling "Extra" he's "so happy" Ellen is joining him, Simon Cowell and Kara DioGuardi to proffer advice and praise to the wannabes.

"Yo baby! You know we got love," Jackson said. Contestants and audience members should also get pumped! He added, "It's going go be fun. We're gonna rock the house every night!"

"Ellen's gonna be rockin', man," Randy shared with Extra.

The new season of "American Idol" starts in January, 2010.
