Someone please explain the fascination with Tyra Banks and this show for me.

The 5 foot-seven-inch and under crowd was judged by Tyra and two gay Jay men, one was in full makeup, I think.
There was giraffe-necked Nicole: "I just feel more mature than the rest of them," Nicole "the bloody eyeball" girl lamented.
There was Amber, who hands down won for the crazy scary slot in the competition, Jesus is her secret weapon. When a gay man with white hair, guyliner and waxed eyebrows tell you you are "affected", well that's saying something.
Me thinks the producers have her in this mix for her potential eye-candylicious alleged mentally-ill behavior/camera ops.
Kara shared she snipped the bits off male sheep on an organic farm in Fiji; Lulu sported a gruesome tattoo of her galpal's name; "country girl" Laura also had a hand in castrating animals; Rae had a hard knock life; Rachel came and went; Raven commits a fashion felony; I could go on but why?
The remaining 20 will be narrowed down to 14 for the actual competition.
The winnowed herd of lookers are Jennifer, Erin, Rachel, Kara, Lulu, Ray, Ashley, Britney, Bianca, Courtney, Nicole, Amber, Laura, and Sundai.
After makeovers and field trips and photo shoots, guest judge Chanel Iman discerns with the two Jay-gays and Ty that the best photo is Rae's.
