Jeremy Piven - Jeremy Piven has won a victory in the legal wranglings between himself and the Broadway producers who had cast the 'Entourage" star in the revival of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow. © Robin Wong / PR PhotosPiven dropped out and claimed it was due to mercury poisoning from sushi, and David Mamet took pot-shots at the actor, telling Daily Variety: “I talked to Jeremy on the phone, and he told me that he discovered that he had a very high level of mercury,” Mamet said. “So my understanding is that he is leaving show business to pursue a career as a thermometer.” Arbitration rules for Piven, saying there was "sufficient evidence to establish that Piven's decision was a reasonable one; that it was reasonably based, and that the contrary evidence is insufficient."Producers had filed charges with Actors Equity against Piven, who was advised to cease working."I'm pleased with the outcome of the arbitration and to be completely vindicated in this matter based on the facts and the medical evidence," Piven said in a prepared statement.
