The Queen bee comic continued her Annie Duke smackdown, refering to the poker player as "Annie Douche" when describing her new TV Land show, "How'd You Get So Rich" to TV critics, and she has not let up, as witnessed by a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times' reporter Richard Abowitz.
From the LAT:
When "Apprentice" ended, Joan recalls their exchange: "I went over to congratulate her and she gave me the finger and I have three people who saw it and that tells you everything. What it is, it is." Duke denied this occured directly to Abowitz: "This is not true. I never gave Joan the finger and it is an outright lie."
The beat goes on.
The show does too, as this week's "How'd You Get So Rich" sees Joanie meeting Jon Hoffman, inventor of the five-chamber bubble blower who is so rich, his dog has a walk-in closet and a private chef! If viewers think his pet lives well, they won't believe the stuff he buys himself.
Then, millionaire Ronnie Lamarque had nothing growing up. Now he has a mansion with its own elevator and his wife has a diamond ring you could skate on. But what’s even more valuable? The lesson you’ll learn when Joan asks them, “How’d you get so rich?”
Tune in August 26th at 10 p.m. on TV Land PRIME.
