The impending season change of summer to fall heralds a more reflective time of year, and one filled with the spectre of SyFy's awesome Rhode Island team of paranormal investigators, who happen to be plumbers, too.

Grant, Jason and the rest of the TAPS gang return tonight with all new episodes of Ghost Hunters on the rebranded "Imagine Greater" network.

The series begins its fifth season tonight at 9:00 on Syfy and the first investigation is in my home state of Massachusetts.

The team heads to a private home in Blackstone, Massachusetts.

The Ladouceur family were okay with some occasional noises that were unexplained, but when their son is grabbed by an unidentified black mass, the little Rhody paranormal team rolls up their sleeves and checks it out.

Producers are on record that no footage is edited, or special effects are used in this series.

Tonight kicks off the new season, as we head towards fall, and Halloween, and darker days and longer nights.

SyFy Wednesday, August 19 @ 9 PM: check out “Inhuman Entity” as The Ghost Hunters help this Blackstone, MA family rid their lives of violent, inexplicable occurrences. Jason is even attacked by this Bay State invisible malevolent force.

SyFy sent us the clip from “Inhuman Entity” for you:
