Paula Abdul's exit from "Idol" has opened up a lot of guest judging opportunities for music stars from every conceivable genre.

So far, Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is a go, with some websites claiming she may stay permanently.  These rumors have been shot down by her publicist.

The Grammy-winning Queen of Hip-Hop and Soul, Mary J. Blige, will sit in judgement next to Idol King, Simon Cowell.

She will sit in at the Atlanta auditions on Sunday and Monday, according to Access Hollywood.

Simon Cowell is putting the fini$hing touche$ for his new three-year deal, as judges Kara DioGuardi, Randy Jackson and also well-paid host Ryan Seacrest were joined by guest judge Victoria Beckham in Boston Friday finishing up that city's auditions.

Beckham sat in at the Boston and Denver auditions, and Katy Perry has also been announced as a guest judge, her slot TBA.

Paula Abdul may just surface on another reality competition show like, "So You Think You Can Dance," "Dancing with the Stars" or even the Australian version of "Idol."
