TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle arrested

Pittsburgh\'s NBC affiliate WPXI first reported that Angle had been arrested. According to the report, Angle\'s girlfriend Trenesha Biggers, aka TNA\'s Rhaka Khan, stated that she had filed a protection from abuse order and that he was stalking her.

Gold medal Olympian (1996) Wrestling star Kurt Angle has been arrested.

Pittsburgh's NBC affiliate WPXI first reported that Angle had been arrested.  According to the report, Angle's girlfriend Trenesha Biggers, aka TNA's Rhaka Khan, stated that she had filed a protection from abuse order and that he was stalking her.

Angle was then charged with "driving while operating privilege is suspended, prohibited acts-possession, harassment and prohibited acts".

Human Growth Hormone "Hygetropin" reportedly was found in his car; Angle claims he had a prescription for the substance.

According to the WPXI report, several criminal charges were filed in Pittsburgh today.  Angle is currently in the Allegheny County Jail awaiting arraignment.  Biggers went to police and filed a protection from abuse order against Angle, and police came and removed Angle from the home this morning, according to the news report.

The events began around 8AM, when Biggers called police stating that Angle was stalking her. She had gone to a Starbucks to use the Internet, and told police that Angle had her phone and had been "circling the parking lot." Allegedly Angle was deleting incriminating abuse photos from her phone.

Angle is booked to defend his TNA Title tomorrow night at the Hard Justice PPV broadcast from Orlando, Florida.
