The back and forth between TLC stars Jon and Kate Gosselin in the media, and the subsequent interviews and paparazzi moments continue to fuel the interest in the smallscreen reality show that by all accounts should be shot in the head.
It continues. A family's livilihood depends on it continuing, and the book deals, endorsements and other bonuses that are a result of a successful reality franchise may be the glue that binds the warring spouses Kate and Jon to suck it up and play happy family for the cameras.
But for now, the fractious headlines keep coming.
A domestic dispute erupted between Kate and husband Jon Gosselin; Jon, the prolific TV dad, chewed the fat with tabloid reporters and photographers at the fence of his Pennsylvania home to "explain" why police were summoned to the Manse on Thursday night.
Jon claims Kate tried to come home when it was his scheduled custody time, and she became enraged when he denied her access, all exacerbated allegedly when the attending nanny who was "assisting" Jon turned out to be a reported "fling" of his.
The nanny in question is a 23-year-old babysitter, Stephanie Santoro, who was watching the children at the Gosselin home for Jon.
Lower Heidelberg police say they calmed the situation down after arriving Thursday evening. No arrests were made and no citations were issued.
Radaronline claims Kate called the police and escalated the whole event.
"After spending a day regrouping," Radaronline adds, "Kate, still undercover in her hat and sunglasses, talked with Jon in their driveway (Friday) as four of the sextuplets and one of their twin girls hovered around them."
TMZ is now claiming the tensions are easing between the couple, and that a possible truce has been raised between the two TLC stars.
At this point, would you invest more time watching this show on TLC, or should the Gosselin franchise plug be pulled? Talk Back.
