Showtime’s “Dexter” hit babies from Comic Con, new season trailer

Showtime’s “Dexter” rolls into season four, and the series has defied the usual petering out of scripted episodic TV shows as it takes our Dexter, the sardonic serial killer and blood-spatter analyst of Miami, into fatherhood.

One of the hits of the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con for TV imagery were the Dexter babies, a series of photos that promoted “Dexter,” the highly successful television series that has elevated the Q ratings of ruthless serial killers.

Our Dexter is not indiscriminate; he has a conscience.

Superb actor John Lithgow will also appear as the “Trinity Killer,” which guarantees that show fans are in for a great ride on September 27, when the new season premieres.

Fans can bet on the fact there will be blood, murders, existentialist dilemmas, diaper-changing duties and screaming babies this new season.
