Victoria Beckham's team is refuting rumors that claim the waifish wife of David Beckham is a Paula Abdul replacement.

“This is completely false and totally ridiculous.”

Twitter set it off today with reports that Victoria Beckham arrived in Boston for the American Idol auditions, her second time filling the seat that was vacated by Paula Abdul.

Fans are wondering if she will be the permanent fourth judge this season and a new report fuels this by claiming that; “Victoria Beckham took private lessons to soften her English accent and work on her facial expressions before appearing on American Idol.”

The publicist for Victoria Beckham released the following statement to “Extra” refuting the claim that she took vocal and facial expression lessons to prepare for her appearance on the show:

“This is completely false and totally ridiculous.”

When asked if she will be a permanent judge the representative stated:

“There are no talks of her being a permanent judge. They felt she was natural in Denver.”

“She has fashion week coming up and she is focusing on that.”
