Straight up, the best thing about NBC day at the TCA's was having Padma Lakshmi host the Top Chef luncheon, a gourmet affair and borderline food orgy (still swooning over the spiced Madeleines).
For fans of NBC's scripted shows, I will summarize what was most overheard panel to panel:
"The city of (fill in the blank location) was also a character in the series..."
"The heart of the script was what motivated me."
"This season will have an edge and lots of surpises, but I can't tell you anything yet."
"I feel so honored to be working with these actors."
"Fairy tales bore me to death," - Harry Dean Stanton, (talking about Alice in Wonderland on the SyFy panel)
"You know, it's the WRITING that motivates me.."
There, it is just like you were at the NBC TCA's, minus the free bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from Top Chef, cool silver money clip from "White Collar" and the bitching coffee mug from "Wake Up with Al."
NBC fired over some pre-NBC evening party clips of the cast from "Heroes," "Trauma," and "Southland."
Adrian Pasdar and Greg Grunberg give you a glimpse into the next season of Heroes.
Southland's Arija Bareikis and Michael McGrady are prepared for a new season.
Trauma's Aimee Garcia and Taylor Kinney talk about getting into character.
Jamey Sheridan and Kevin Rankin dish on NBC's new show, Trauma.
