Huffington, Issa and Kingston on HBO's Bill Maher tonight, August 7

The Friday night salon for satire, social and political issues is hosted by Bill Maher, a long running HBO star who has performed numerous comedy specials for the network.
The seventh season in prime time airs Friday, August 7 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, with an instant replay at 11:00 p.m. following the live presentation.
Moderator Maher poses a question and solicits perspective on a variety of contemporary issues, allowing his panel guests to weigh in. The show includes an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists, and interviews with in-studio and satellite guests.
Tonight's roundtable guests this week include Cal. Rep. Darrell Issa and Ga. Rep. Jack Kingston; the interview guests are Arianna Huffington, editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, and Dr. David Scheiner.
Other HBO playdates: Aug. 9 (1:30 p.m., 3:00 a.m.), 10 (8:00 p.m.) and 12 (11:00 p.m.)

Maher was the creator and host of “Politically Incorrect,” which was produced by 28 Downtown Productions and debuted on Comedy Central in 1993. The series moved to ABC in 1997, where Brad Grey Television joined HBO Downtown Productions as producers, and ended its run in 2002.
A favorite of HBO viewers since his first special on the network in 1989, Maher’s other HBO credits include six hour-long specials. He also starred in the recent feature film “Religulous.”
