NBC's huge hit "America's Got Talent" saw host Nick Cannon welcome his chanteuse wife Mariah Carey on Wednesday night.
The series aired the first night of live eliminations when 12 quarterfinalists, who performed Tuesday, were winnowed to five acts.
The first three to move ahead: Acrodunk, Drew Thomas Magic and fan fave country crooner, Kentuckian Kevin Skinner.
Then, AGT welcomed Mariah Carey to the stage to perform her new single “Obsessed,” off her upcoming album. The song is a swipe at her nemesis Eminem, who has also penned songs about Mariah that were less than flattering.
“I don’t care what nobody say, that song is about me because I am obsessed with this beautiful girl right here,” Cannon said about his wife. “This beautiful woman next to me has more No. 1 hit singles than any single artist in the world. How do you do it?”
“I’m just so happy to be here,” said Mariah.
“She’s modest, she’s beautiful,” a proud Cannon continued. “Ladies and gentlemen, my soulmate Mariah Carey.”
Then 75-year-old stand-up comedienne Grandma Lee and dancer Arcadian Broad, 13, would be the judges’ choice to move forward.
