Joan Rivers, what to say that she has not said already. Calling Annie Duke "Annie Douche" at the recent TCA's in Pasadena, and quipping that Leno hasn't been funny in years, the Queen bee of snappy one-liners is being feted by Comedy Central Sunday, August 9 at 10 PM.

Rivers will be grilled by another "fling it like a monkey" comic, roast master Kathy Griffin. The roasters are Carl Reiner, Greg Giraldo, Jeffrey Ross, Whitney Cummings, Tom Arnold and many more.
Joan Rivers poked a big stick at her pal Kathy Griffin to People magazine.
"She can [expletive] drop dead now, I'm so angry," Rivers laughed. "She was evil. We made a pact. No matter what we say on camera ... we stay friends forever. And she really lets me have it."
"I was in shock at what they said," she says. "They called me evil, mean and [a] plastic surgery whore and disgusting. I kept saying to myself, 'How do they know so much about me?'"
Rivers appeared at the recent TCA press junket and let loose a barrage of zingers to promote her new TV Land show, "How'd You Get So Rich?," which begins Aug. 5 (10 p.m., ET), in which Rivers travels cross-country nosing into people's business.
"We go and ring doorbells and stop cars — things everybody's always wanted to do," she says. "When you see a big car on the street, you want to know, 'How did they get so rich?' So, I ask them."
Rivers told the TCA members: "This is an aspirational show, anyone can make it in America. You gotta work hard, that's what they all have in common."
