According to her IMDB trivia page, Larter has portrayed three different characters in different shows and movies who end up committed to a mental institution. In "Legally Blonde," "Final Destination / Final Destination 2" and in "Heroes," her character, Niki, committed herself into a prison/mental institution in order to prevent Jessica from causing further harm to Micah and D.L.The newlyweds were engaged in December 2007, according to People.Also wed in coastal Maine this summer was "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi, who married her neighbor in Prospect Harbor. The couple said their "I dos" on July 5.
