With the exception of the exceptional Emmy award winning and nominated below the line crafts such as special visual effects, cinematography, sound mixing, costumes and editing, the series is whiffed once again for the cast of the series.
Edward James Olmos has held up the cast, along with Mary McDonnell, Grace Park, Tricia Helfer, Katee Sackhoff and Jamie Barber, consistently deliver Emmy award winning performances in a nuanced and complex story penned by Ronald Moore and Glen Larson, that just happens to take place in outer space and worlds beyond.
Apparently that locational fact is the death knell for Emmy consideration.
