Jon Gosselin redefines Fatherhood

The reality TV father of eight rented a bachelor pad in an upscale Manhattan neighborhood, vacationed in Saint Tropez and is all over the Hamptons. All while dating Kate Major, 26, and 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, whose face is gracing the Internets in a fetching mug shot.

Somebody is stuck watching eight little kids while papa Jon Gosselin is out an about with a couple of hot messes for gal pals.

The new bachelor, sporting pirate-y earrings and a gut, is traipsing the Hamptons with Lindsay Lohan's upstanding father Michael Lohan, and ditching another Kate, not his wife, but the tabloid writer who "fell" for the portly papa.

Gosselin is reportedly telling friends that he is not romantically involved with now former Star magazine reporter Kate Major, RadarOnline.com reported.

"[He said] I can't believe she did this to me.  What do I do?  She's totally (bleeping) me over,'" a source told RadarOnline.com.

Major had claimed that she was dating Jon in a statement issued Wednesday evening.

"I didn't mean it to happen, it just did," Major said. "I went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him."

She has since resigned from the magazine this morning, citing the relationship as a conflict of interest.

Major previously denied she was dating Gosselin. "I have no comment," she told the New York Daily News.  "There was no date. Jon and I are just friends."

The pair have reportedly hooked up at the Hamptons home of Michael Lohan, a convicted felon.

"Jon and Kate [Major] are good friends of mine. She's with him [at my house]," Lohan told People. "Kate's like a daughter to me. When she needed a place my doors were open."

Major and Gosselin's Hamptons visit with Lohan also included The Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin and husband Bobby Zarin and Southampton town mayor Mark Epley and his wife Marianne, according to People.

According to Jill Zarin, Major and Gosselin said they were dating during the dinner.

"He didn't seem smitten. They weren't all over each other. But they're definitely dating. It came up in conversation," The Real Housewives star told People.  "She had her hands on him. But she's young. This is a girl who is going to want to have babies. Does he really want to go out with another young girl and have kids?"

The news of Major and Gosselin's relationship had come as a surprise to Hailey Glassman, the daughter of Kate Gosselin's plastic surgeon who was dubbed 'Meth Brows" by blogger Michael K of DListed.com.

"That's news to me," Glassman told People when informed of Major's announcement. "I still love Jon and Jon loves me," she said.
