The dog days of August bring back the Bear.

Discovery Channel's Emmy-nominated series, Man Vs. Wild, will return for its fourth season on Wednesday, August 12 at 9PM ET/PT with seven all-new episodes. 

According to Discovery, host and survival expert Bear Grylls navigates through the icy Arctic Circle during the August 12 premiere episode, where he tackles a frozen waterfall, hunts wild reindeer and battles against some of the coldest conditions on the planet.

Other episodes this season take Bear to extreme locations near and far: from Vietnam to Alabama and Alaska to Texas.
