Now the theme of the well-endowed male is taking off, after HBO's "Hung" has commenced, MTV will follow with the pilot, "Hard Times," a new coming-of-age comedy series.
"Hard Times" is produced by Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg, about a square peg with a tough home life high school kid named RJ Berger, who possesses a big brain and big member. He accidentally exposes himself at a basketball game and the net result is his social status and popularity soar.
Katzenberg, the son of Jeffrey Katzenberg, also produced CBS' "Survivor." Paul Iacono was previously announced cast as RJ, the lead in the series.
"Hard Times" was announced last month in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter as part of MTV's development slate.
