Brenda sets out to prove the LAPD truly cares about crime in a poor neighborhood in an all new episode of TNT’s "The Closer"

Brenda’s squad investigates the murder of a former gang banger, but the evidence indicates he may not have been the target. The case leads Brenda on a return trip to the doorstep of Father Jack and the Crenshaw Community Center, where an upset neighborhood is convinced the LAPD doesn’t care about stifling crime in the area. It’s up to Brenda to prove otherwise.

Jerry defends the case of a woman picked up for drug possession, for a substance which she insists is only laundry detergent. The case also involves Michelle’s new police officer boyfriend, who gives Jerry a runaround that proves to be devastating. Bobbi steps in to defend a client who is certain that “his side” of the story will prove that he’s innocent of the larceny charges he faces.
And Charlie has an intriguing dinner with Judge Farnsworth.
