She reveals in an interview with Easy Living Magazine (UK) that she will now be known as Patsy Kensit-Healy.
Patsy is best known to American audiences for her film role in "Lethal Weapon 2."
Patsy, who wed Healy, 47, in April, tells Easy Living: ‘I’ve never done it before, but I’m Kensit-Healy professionally, so I’ll use it for everything. I’m ready to change my passport.
‘To change my name professionally was a big declaration for me as my name is the one thing I’ve always had: good, bad, it’s defined me.
"The day I went back to work and it was on the call sheet, I was like, 'Ooooo!’’' Patsy Kensit with Jeremy Healy...I was never going to get married again, so for me it was, “This is it.” I think everyone thinks I have an alarm clock which says, 'Time to get married! Time to get married!' she told Easy Living magazine.
Patsy's first husband was Big Audio Dynamite musician Dan Donovan; they wed in 1988. She later married Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr, with whom she had a son. Her third husband was Oasis leadman Liam Gallagher, wed in 1997, with whom she had another son.
Her acting career has flourished on the smallscreen in the UK, with roles in Emmerdale Farms and Holby City, two popular television series.
Patsy tells Easy Living: "God only knows what people think of our relationship. We’re not really a social couple: he goes to work, I go to work, we go out infrequently, we’re tucked up at home most nights – we don’t want to be on 'the scene' or a celebrity couple."
