Multiple sources including Entertainment Weekly and Variety report that NPH was confirmed to host the 61st annual ceremony, airing September 20 on CBS.Variety noted that the Emmy producers are going all out this year to avoid the debacle of last year's telecast.CBS star Harris earned major kudos for his turn as host for the Tonys.
