Boyle was ensconced at the Priory, a private hospital after the show wrapped due to exhaustion, and still is not ready to continue the work of a reality smallscreen series after the fact. Boyle took second-place on "Britain's Got Talent," and did perform on the initial dates of the tour on Friday and Saturday, but reportedly pulled out of performing in Manchester, England, on Sunday, according to BBC News.
On stage in Birmingham, Boyle sang her signature songs, "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Misérables" and "Memory" from "Cats."
The BBC reported that in Sheffield, England, Boyle stumbled over the words to "Memory" and received a lukewarm response from the audience.
The tour spokesperson claimed Boyle was tired still, and canceled the Manchester performance, alerting fans by posted notices announcing that Boyle would not be performing at the matinee and evening shows.
"She sends her sincere apologies to her fans for not appearing in Manchester," her spokesperson said. The BBC reported that the crowd in Manchester allegedly booed when it was announced that Boyle would not be performing and showed a clip reel of her time on the show instead.
What is not certain is Boyle's performing in her home turf of Scotland, and the scheduled Monday shows in Glasgow, where her audition took place for the TV series.
"On Sunday she was advised to take a rest day," a tour spokesperson told Reuters. "She hasn't pulled out of the tour."
The BBC reports that Boyle will put out a debut album, to be distributed by Christmas.
