Jon & Kate Gosselin are facing their ten year anniversary, and the allegations are piling up: Girlfriends, boyfriends, pot-smoking and bad parenting are just some of the smoke around this reality fire for TLC.
Now, Judge Jeanine Pirro weighs in on what could be a crazy divorce and custodial case.
Pirro explains what could happen if TLC’s reality couple, Jon and Kate, divorce:
“The most important part of this whole case is the fact that for the first time in the history of child custody disputes, we have a reality show and tapes of hours and hours of parents interacting with their children….We’ve got a whole reality show where we can watch how the mother belittles the father, how the children interact with the parents, who the best parent is and I think the judge deciding this case will make a very important precedent -setting decision, and that is, ‘Is a television show appropriate for children?’…The judge will decide who is the best parent assuming they get a divorce and who the children will be best raised by.”
How their potential divorce case could change the rules regarding children starring on reality shows
“The Pennsylvania Department of Labor is actually looking into whether or not these eight children are working when they are on this reality show or are they just living their lives….The family is being paid. Is this a violation of child labor laws? I’m not saying it is or it isn’t, but I think this will be a precedent-setting divorce and custody case.”
“Extra’s” interview with Jeanine Pirro airs tonight.

I actually liked this show, although I didn't start watching until last winter, but Kate just can't quit berating John and did so the other night asking him if he knew where the stove was! I'd think with all the negative publicity, she would exercise a little control. It's now uncomfortable to watch.

I didn't think the cameras were on them 24/7 - just now and then and at special times. At any rate it sounds like these are two parents who blew it bigtime. They have so much to lose in every way it's incredible.
