The show hits all sides of the spectrum, from liberal left guests to the right; Maher features a variety of voices and perspectives that make for a great Friday night watch.

I have always been able to get beyond Bill Mahers crud mouth. He is sharp and dumb at the same time. But last nights show his bad mouthing this President was over the line... lost me as a viewer. Some may find that humorous. I do not.
However, most folks in my circle feel the same as I. Bill, albeit, sharp as he is, he sure does not get Obama's approach to the American People, and showing them the wheres and whys of himself and his family's every move. It may be a surprise to you that most folks don't have a clue that the leader of this Nation is a human with a family, and he bent on cleaning up the disaster he was dealt by the previous 'do it all in secrecy crowd' most of us find his availability refreshing and the last thing this country needs is a jerk comedian, (if you can really call JM a comedian.) bad mouthing our new elected by a generous majority.
There was a time in this country when people were proud of a popular President, supportive and tolerant even when they did not approve 100% because he was our President. After the last administration, the Administration of secrecy and lies, this President promised to be transparent and keep us informed when ever possible.
Not all Americans understand government process, and Barak Obama is making a serious effort to interact with everyone.
Even more he shows his intent. Refreshing.
Despite a filthy mouth self centered late night performer who strength lies in interrupting his guests and minimizing their
input... when I think about it, I wonder why we have watched him this long.
I wonder if he watched is own shows if he would still let them go on... probably would.
Narcissistic personality rarely do see themselves as they are... BM has found a tool of humor to cover the obvious to the trained eye.
This week his attempt went too far.
HBO drop him. Last thing this country needs is decent. And not all folks are bright enough to separate sick humor from fact.

Maher seemed to me to say what so many American's are feeling at this time. I change channels when Obama comes on not because I dislike or dishonor the man but since I think he is over exposed. Most of the remarks Maher made I could relate to. Why in the world do Obama and Biden have to journey miles to get a hamburger and who cares what they eat and where or when. Obviously all the verbage in Obama's Cairo speech had little impact on the thinking of people in that area as evident in the elections in Iran and the dramatic increase in oil prices. Obama needs to spend his time focusing on the many problems we have in the US rather than projecting his dreams on the world at large. He campaigned on professing the ability to make our dreams come true now he needs to wave a magic wand and let that happen. Maher was so right in saying that we like him but now it is time to stop campaigning and do something!
