Adam Lambert 'out,' slams Clay Aiken once again

In the "not news" category, Rolling Stone magazine has leaked teaser video and excerpts from their upcoming big reveal interview that has "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert saying he "was not like other boys" growing up.
Lambert shares a great deal of himself in the new issue of Rolling Stone, hitting newsstands this week.
The singer, with the nickname "Glamberace" from DListed.com's Michael K, has concocted a look that combines Elvis, Ziggy Stardust and KD Lang. He "bares all," according to Rolling Stone.
Lambert spoke of his childhood thoughts, and was honest about his "drug-fueled" Burning Man days that were the catalyst to bring his career to the masses via American Idol.
"I realized that we all have our own power, and that whatever I wanted to do, I had to make happen,” he shared with Rolling Stone.
Lambert gets another swipe in at past Idol contestant Clay Aiken, who he previously accused of riding on his "coattails" after Aiken made a big stink in his blog over Adam's performance of a Johnny Cash classic.

Like everyone & their mother didn't know Madam Lamebert likes to ride former Idols... ummm... coattails. Ha! Seems funny he was just last week talking about wanting to be a role model for teens & now he's all sex in bars, getting drunk & high, & all kinds of vulgar talk. Mommies, cover your tweenies ears! And you might wanna think twice about those tour tickets.
Too bad these celebrities and 'almost' celebrities can't control their mouths. They need major work in that area. I love Adam's music, but too much talk is going to be a turnoff. I see a book in the works just like all the others who can't wait to make money from telling all their dirty little secrets. Melissa Gilbert has now joined the fray.

Adam said that the only thing that he has in common with Clay is that they are both gay. Too right! Clay did not seek any media attention for his comment answering a fan's question on his private fan club. He didn't like Adam's version of 'Ring Of Fire'. That's it and look at the big fuss that was made over it. Probably because Clay knows what good singing is. If Elliott Yamin had said it there would have been a collective yawn.
Adam has now used Clay's name to get attention in at least a half dozen interviews. Who is riding who's coat tails again?
Adam has no class whatsoever. Drunken orgies, mushrooms, cocaine, pot and sex in gay bars is not going over too well with his fans. Or should I say the fans that are jumping off the Adam train in droves today.
Thank you Adam for saying you are nothing like Clay Aiken. Confession is good for the soul.
Adam- You've got a great talent but you don't gain new fans with a 'just too hot on myself' attitude. Like Clay Aiken - you might have to eat a little humble pie in the process.
So it's cool to get the cover and tell your story in 'Rolling Stone' and not so much that celebrity magazine called 'People'? Uh - aren't they both celebrity magazines?
I believe that Clay had to pay his dues the hard way being the butt of gay jokes on late nite TV and the favorite whipping boy of the media for 6 years. I guess it's easier to be gay, out and proud in Hollywood, than in the conservative bible belt of North Carolina. Being the subject of a stalker's hate blog for years couldn't have been easy either - and still staying above the fray, ignoring the pain of it all and remaining classy. I believe that Clay carries enough weight from his own coat-tails, so doubt seriously that he wants anyone elses.
Adam - you are a hot new artist and everyone wants a piece of you for now. Just don't let it go to your head too much.

This article is bringing out the weirdos bigtime!! Adam has a tremendeous singing and stage talent, so hope he doesn't ruin it with too much info and private thoughts. That, my friend, will be a turn off, and regardless of your talent, you will lose tons of fans. However, you might gain some weird ones, if that's what you want.
I've always thought that Adam and Clay can not be compared. Every day the differences get bigger and bigger. Clay may sometimes use 'colorful' and funny words, but never vulgar. He sounds intelligent and educated, as he is. It's unbelievable the way Adam talked to Rolling Stone magazine, especially that comment about girls who went 'crazy about him' in his own words, which I consider cocky, but it's what he said afterwards that is completely of bad taste and vulgar. If this is how he speaks to reporters can you imagine the way he talks in his every day life?
I think Adam's comments are a real turn off. There is such a thing as tact and obviously this 'too cool for school' poser doesn't know that word.
He should have left a few things to the imagination. A completely open book is not always a good thing; especially when the book isn't that interesting to begin with.
Sorry Adam, my daughters and I voted for you on AI over and over again, but you are nothing like you portrayed yourself to be on that show.
I watch AI every year and thought that Adam Lambert was one of
the most unusual and unique performers ever to grace that stage.

I thought Clay Aiken stated on a private site that he didn't like Adam's version of one song -- and that he later apologized to Adam because his private words were made public. And since then Adam has dissed Aiken in every interview.
Not much of a decent guy IMO. But then his story goes on to demonstrate that even more. He is using Clay's name for his own purposes but claimed Clay was trying to ride his coat tails? Not likely. Clay has been his usual classy self and not commenting on any of this. Adam is a spoiled child who needs to grow up. Nothing genuine about him.

Adam, I love your talent and think you have great potential to be a star, but you're starting off on the wrong foot, dude. Clay Aiken has made mistakes along the way but has never stopped being a class act. Right now, you are the flavor of the month, which is always the case when a season of Idol ends, but attitude can make or break you. Clay's fans have remained fans for six years for more than one reason. We love his voice, but we also love the man. He put up with a lot of crap over the last six years and is still putting up with it. He always took the high road and faced each roadblock with dignity and held his head up high. You, my friend, need to get your ego in check and back where it belongs. You can have all the talent in the world but if you are arrogant and self-righteous, you won't have a fandom that will sustain you.

P.S. Adam's version of Ring of Fire (and several other songs he did) was far better than the original.
I have been a huge Adam Lambert fan from the beginning and the gay thing I knew but it didn't matter and it was irrelevant.. He could still be a good role model and be gay, but the drug use is hard for me to swallow.. I'm very disappointed in him that he would just come out with that fact and act as if he just took an aspirin.. I think a lot of people who stood by him will look at his drug use as him not being the wholesome person we really thought he was.. Sorry Adam, but I think you have a lot of damage control to do.. I still love you but you need to clean up your act or you will start losing fans, kids are watching you and you need to be a responsible role model for them..
Greetings: I too was so disappointed to find that the big beautiful studly man Adam Lambert most certainly is GAY. I guess it is what it is. I had always had an inkling of a hang up in the gays’ activities, but Adam has brought me around. THANK YOU ADAM! He has made the way clear for me to accept these artists with no worries of their sexuality or their chosen partners in life. I mean, who couldn’t LOVE ADAM ? He is the darling of them all, no doubt! He is just the best entertainer to step up to the Mic. since Elvis (and with a more versatile voice range). Can’t wait for his CD to drop.
I feel that Adam Lambert without meaning to, and not asking for the job, has kind of quickly evolved to be sort of, a spokesman for the gay entertainers, whether he likes it or not. He has been honest and straight-forward about his choice to be gay, and seeming is coming out of this (no pun intended) unscathed, and I am so happy for him. Although speaking for his younger female fans, who have had higher hopes and plans for him, I feel disappointed for them. It is terrible to lose as good of a male specimen as Adam, to something they will never be able to compete with. But we will love Adam for just being true to himself and to his individual and one of a kind talent. Adam, you are already doing everything right, just keep up the superior work-ethic, great song choices, and keep good people to work with. Stay as sweet as you are - don’t let them change you, not a hair. We love all of you, all the time!!! I also want them on the civer of RS laying on a bed with everyting pointing to his crotch.I would think that entertainment 19 would object to such an image of an Idol. AI is not a family friendly show anymore. All they care about is getting rich off the current Idols until next season. Anyone who has internent knew Adam was gay because his picture was plastered all over the internent with his tongue down someone throat. So why make a big splash about his 'coming out' on the cover of RS. How much is entertainment 19 getting for this?
I still love Adam's musical abilities, but I have to disagree with a poster who blamed the papparazi for Adam's bad press so to speak. Granted the photogs are everywhere all the time, but it's Adam's interviews and posing in such a suggestive manner on the mag that is getting him in trouble. I don't give a rat's a** if he's gay or not, but he needs to learn a little control over his mouth and judgements. There is a big difference between being gay and trying to flaunt it by being a 'flaming' gay and constantly making it an issue in everything you do.

For your information Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby were best friends and they were never fighting at all. Even more, Bing Crosby was Frank Sinatra's idol.
