"American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert has an operatic range to his amazing voice, and an open secret that has been the white elephant in room for the past season of the FOX reality juggernaut

Lambert's past and reports of his present behavior have been popping up all over the internet, and now the glam rocker has told reporters at the Young Hollywood Awards "all your questions will be answered...once and for all" according to People.com, when his "out" Rolling Stone cover story hits newsstands.

Insiders who are traveling with the Idol are also telling tales of alleged diva-like attitude that is off-putting, according to MSNBC's The Scoop.

“He is such a diva. Rude to everyone — from fans right down to the lighting folks,” said a snitch who is traveling with Lambert.

“A-list celebrities have come through here and been infinitely more polite,” said another person who worked with Lambert, according to MSNBC.

The singer has been seen with interior designer Drake LaBry attending "Guys and Dolls," their photos posted on DListed.com.

Young Hollywood Awards attendee and Idol winner Kris Allen told reporters, "I support [Adam] in whatever he does."

I am so sick of that comment about the Diva being reported and rereported over and over. It has no basis! I've watched every interview and encounter with Adam and his fans, the press, etc. He is always a gentlemen and very patient with rude questions and pushy people. He is the exact opposite of a diva. Please check sources and don't just blindly reprint articles that sensationalize lies. It's unprofessional.

Adam's fans - and there are hundreds of thousands of us out here - do want to see him and hear more about him. But, just making up stuff for the shock value is not appropriate.

The diva story was totally debunked. There are many reports that Adam has been nothing but kind and gracious at these events.

Also Kris Allen was not at the Young Hollywood Awards. He was sing the National Anthem at some sporting event.

The quote about him supporting Adam came from People in response to Adam being openly gay and dating Drake.

The Diva report is false and it's ridiculous that it is still being reported. Check your sources.

Yes, we have heard all about Clay Aiken's fans starting the vicious rumor that Adam is a diva and has been rude. This is old news or should I say gossip. Enough already, get a life and leave Adam and Kris and everyone else to theirs....you keep poking with a stick long enough and you might find it and your arm pulled off and end up getting beaten with the stick and/or arm. Wish them love and luck and be happy for them that they made friends during that tough time. If you cannot truly be happy for the good fortune of others, you will not recognize your own and only know misfortune. Let's be excited that in a matter of a few months we should be getting some exciting new music from a number of the new idols...we will all win (ie., that is a good thing). We all have our moments where we are not at our best and may be cranky but Adam has handled all the gossip and snide remarks about his looks, his voice, his eyeliner, his nailpolish, his sexual preference and from those who know nothing about music or those who just aren't that into his style of music, his 'screeching and yelling'.....I say incerdible, out of this world vocal ability and range...you say potato....Stop living vicariously through his life and start to live vicariously through your own....maybe people will start to talk about you, if you are interesting enough....or maybe they will even poke a stick at you. Adam was a breath of fresh air, he is a firealarm in an elevator filled with muzak. He gets the zombified masses excited and moving and happy and trying to aspire to be as sweet and caring and humble and pleasant, proud of who he is and not afraid to be different....revelling in it, as Adam is. I would be proud to be his friend and pleased to have someone whose behaviour and demeanor has been kind and classy. Adam, unfortunately this drivel is just the beginning....let your light shine and your fans will find you. The haters may come to see the light eventually as well, if they don't then we know alien life IS alive on earth.

The DIVA report is all trash. All media today such as MSNBC are trash. Journalists have no credibility at all. This is what you would expect from AMERICAN journalists. They have NO CREDIBILITY evident in the presidential campaign.

Stupid article. I never realized how dumb journalists are in this country. Just repeating unfounded gossip. I'm glad Adam is so grounded and intelligent. World wide album sales will exceed all previous idols combinine within three months,

The diva rumor is without foundation.

Kris Allen was singing the national anthem at the NBA finals and was not at the awards.

The earth is round.

It it so sad how many people are unable to obtain or invent an original story. There is plenty of videos of Adam Lambert talking to the press about what is going on in his life that is 'real'. He mentioned in one of those videos that he is 'happy to now be signed'. Why would your first priority not be to find out who he signed with and add any details you are able to uncover? The fact that he said he is alone could give you enough fodder to write a worth while story. I'm afraid that some things left over from the Bush administration are still lingering in our midst. We have had enough pandering of lies to last us 'til the end of time. Enough shotty journalism with a bias. Stop insulting the intelligence of the general public while making those trying to become intelligent starve. This type of thing is making our (the US') entire culture a joke. Is there no such thing as integrity anymore? The hypocrisy in doing a story about someone's character flaws while proving your own is asinine. It is 'rude' to report these things, they are untrue! Do you have any idea how over and beyond wrong this is? It's so sad that false stories by amateur columnists are being regurgitated. Clear case of 'blind following the blind'.

Your article is wrong. It's the cover of Rolling Stone, not People.
