The Scottish surprise known as Susan Boyle has taken first place for 'Britain's Got Talent' semi-final, singing the popular song 'Memory' from 'Cats.'
It got off to a shaky start, but from the judges' expressions, she found her groove and finished respectably.
"Britain's Got Talent" has Boyle gussied up and put into a metallic bronze dress dress, standing behind a very celestial backdrop.
Boyle's competition was Darth Jackson and Nick Hell, who smashed a plate with ear lobe axes. Also 10 year-old singer Natalie Okri, who was voted down by Simon Cowell, according to the BBC. Animated show hosts Ant and Dec asked Susan how she coped with the performance stress, and she said: "What pressure, I really enjoyed myself, I enjoyed every second. I'd do it again!"
Next week will see if the British public calls in for Boyle, and if the judges, Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, still think she is the top UK talent.
Boyle's Glasgow audition tape that was spread like wildfire on YouTube scored more than 58 million views.
The Boyle hysteria earned her a ticket to the USA to be wooed by the likes of CNN's Larry King, Oprah Winfrey and Twitter-fêted by Our Lady of Twitter, actress Demi Moore.

And she was looking very pretty indeed.
Yes, a little shaky start because of nerves, but her voice is as pure and beautiful as it was when she did 'I dreamed a dream'. Go Susan!!! We wish you the best!
