Simon Cowell is happily stimulating the American economy.
Five years and $27 million later, Simon Cowell is finally moving into his dream bachelor pad and only his ex girlfriend Terri Seymour scooped the story is getting the grand tour.
Well, sort of. Simon says, “I don’t do tours….[I] invite people over for a drink.”

Witnessing Ryan Seacrest’s first visit!
“It was everything I wanted. It was like he’d sucked on a lemon as he walked in the front door. Not happy at all. Then he wouldn’t go home that night. Checked into a hotel.”
Cowell and Seacrest may be good friends, but their onstage American Idol clashes seem to spill over into the home décor arena as well. “Ryan’s got taste, I don’t mean this meanly, of someone probably in their 70’s, female, that likes a lot of dark, crowded furniture and I’m the opposite…You know, like if you went to grandma’s house in Oklahoma. That is Ryan.”
Fellow judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul have also checked out Cowell’s new digs. “Randy’s got taste…[Paula] liked it. We had fun …with Paula the other night.”
Although he keeps mum about his Idol fate, Cowell does reveal he’ll probably have to say goodbye to one of his many projects. “Something’s got to go. Can’t do it all this traveling all year long. It’s impossible. And doing everything else. One will have to go at some point.”
Earlier this month, Seymour sat down with Cowell’s mom Julie and Seacrest’s mom Connie who met for the very first time. The ladies dished about their sons ‘ close relationship and their love lives but Cowell wasn’t surprised how well they got along. “I thought they’d like each other. They’re very similar. It’s really funny. When I see the two of them together, it’s like peas in the same pod.”
“Extra’s” interview with Simon Cowell airs tonight.
