05/08/2009 - Kristin Cavallari - new Hills star © Bob Charlotte / PR PhotosThe "Laguna Beach" star Kristin Cavallari will join "The Hills," replacing longtime star Lauren Conrad, who is busy with her clothes designing and other projects.Cavallari 22, was in talks to replace Lauren Conrad on “The Hills.” Now, MTV confirms that Cavallari will take over "The Hills" reality series. She will reportedly be seen on the May 31st season finale and then prominently in the fall's new episodes.No word on who will be romantically linked to Cavalleri, as rumors abound that she and Justin Bobby may become an item. She once was romatically involved with Brody Jenner.In fact, she told EW in an interview that she was more of a "dater" than Lauren and promised to be more exciting in that particular department.
