Starz channel owns Friday night for comedy.
Their bright spot original comedy series are "Head Case" and "Party Down." Starz has sent over some clips for tonight's episodes.
"Case" stars improv comedian Alexandra Wentworth as Dr. Elizabeth Goode, a narcissistic $450-an-hour therapist whose own issues trump her famous clients she treats in Beverly Hills.
Unscripted and improvised episodes feature Goode (and her office-mate Dr. Myron Finklstein, played by Steve Landesberg) violating every ethical Doctor-patient rule.
Goode entertains her "patients" Macy Gray, Jerry Seinfeld, Janeane Garofalo, James Denton, Paulina Porizkova, Kevin Nealon, designer Isaac Mizrahi and magician Lance Burton this season.
