US Actress Evan Rachel Wood. Evan Rachel Wood is booked for two episodes of Alan Ball's HBO series, "True Blood,", both of which will air towards the end of the show's upcoming second season. EPA/PETER FOLEYEvan Rachel Wood is booked for two episodes of Alan Ball's HBO series, "True Blood,", both of which will air towards the end of the show's upcoming second season. "True Blood" is the smallscreen adaption of the Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Series of novels, based in Louisiana.Entertainment Weekly broke the news that Wood will play a character named Sophie-Anne, who just happens to be the vampire queen of Louisiana. She's set to appear in two episodes late in the season. The role could continue if the show gets a third season, and since this series is considered the most popular by HBO next to The Sopranos and The Wire, it most likely will see another season.Wood last guest-starred in a 2003 "CSI" episode in 2003. She has focused more on film and earned positive reviews with her work as Mickey Rourke's estranged daughter in "The Wrestler." She will be seen next in Woody Allen's "Whatever Works," scheduled for release this summer."True Blood" returns to HBO on June 14.
