Jay Mohr hosts 12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards on IFC

Comedian Jay Mohr will host the 12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards (IAA) to television audiences for the first time.
The awards were held February 19, 2009 at the Red Rock Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The IAA will be broadcast on IFC on April 21, 2009 at 8 pm ET/PT and comprise of a half hour special with highlights from the IAAs and will be hosted by comedian, actor and game enthusiast, Jay Mohr.
The IAA is the only peer-based awards that recognize the year’s best games, computer games, online entertainment, outstanding individuals and groundbreaking development teams.
The night’s big winner was Sony's LittleBigPlanet, collecting on an impressive 8 awards at the 12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards.
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences also honored Bruce Shelley for his tremendous contributions to the video game industry.
Shelley’s fellow co-founder of Ensemble Studios, Tony Goodman, presented his award after a video retrospective of his career. Shelley is the 12th recipient of the prestigious Hall of Fame Award.
