Bill Maher is back on HBO April 3.
Real Time With Bill Maher continues its seventh season Friday, April 3 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), on HBO, with an instant replay at 11:00 p.m., following the live presentation.
Politcally charged and incorrect, Maher leverages his relationships with some of the most diverse policy makers, comedians, pundits and personalities to offer a balanced blend of right-left perspective, with Maher himself usually falling somewhere in-between.
The debates are spirited, the audience is vocal and the "New Rules" segment has become a must-see finale to a fun Friday night recap of the week's percolating top stories.
Maher's show includes an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists, and interviews with in-studio and satellite guests.
The roundtable guests this week include reporter Sam Donaldson, political commentator David Frum and journalist Reihan Salam. Comedian-writer Carol Leifer and Joe Wurzelbacher (aka “Joe the Plumber”) are interview guests.
Maher was the creator and host of “Politically Incorrect,” which was produced by HBO Downtown Productions and debuted on Comedy Central in 1993. The series moved to ABC in 1997.
Maher recently had his satirical documentary film, "Religulous" out in theaters nationwide.
An HBO regular, Maher has been on the premium cable network six times, beginning in 1989.
