WrestleMania 25 a hoot, April 5th PPV will see Rourke, Jericho, Flair

Ortega / PR PhotosAccording to the WWE, Chris Jericho challenged WWE Hall of Famers Jimmy Snuka, Roddy Piper and Ricky Steamboat to a match at the 25th anniversary of WWE's WrestleMania on Sunday, April 5 at Reliant Stadium in Houston.Reportedly, Jericho's opponents pal with actor Mickey Rourke, who starred in director Darren Aronofsky's award-winning movie "The Wrestler." Industry insiders say the film parallels many events of the life of veteran wrestler Jake the Snake Roberts.

Rourke previously challenged Jericho on the red carpet of the SAG Awards. The two met up on Larry King's CNN talk show where Rourke backtracked.Jericho continued to diss Rourke. Rourke will now be in attendance at WrestleMania 25.At the end of WWE Monday Night RAW on March 16, Jericho offered to buy Rourke a front row seat to WrestleMania.

The WWE announced the superstars who will be appearing during the seven different sessions of WWE WrestleMania Axxess during WrestleMania 25 Weekend from Thursday, April 2- Sunday, April 5 in Houston.WWE stars John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, Edge, Triple H, JBL, Randy Orton, Big Show, Kane, MVP, Chris Jericho, Ric Flair and Batista are scheduled at various times.
