the show was fantastic, john hit all the right buttons with this interview!!
Even if I hadn't seen the interview I could smell your bias from a mile away. You criticize Cramer for giving bad information when yours is just as bad because of where your allegiances lie. Whatever happened to just 'reporting' the news? Cramer most likely DOES have an interest in what he says, just like Stewart does, just like you apparently do. The only difference between Cramer and Stewart (and you) is that Cramer recognizes that his interest in his information is what gets him paid. You and Stewart can say what you will, you two are every bit the liars he is. What a crock.
finally he was exposed for what he is. His body language, trembling and facial tics revealed everything. Stewart was 100% dead on.
To Seth:
Where exactly do Stewart's alliances lie exactly? You must not be a regular viewer of his show, or you would know he sides with people, and people only. I've seen him bash Bush, Cheney and Palin, and five minutes later he's doing the same to Obama, Biden, and Pelosi.
Unlike most news anchors and stations (Fox, NBC, etc), he is by far the most balanced in terms of right vs left.
The only thing he tends to go after are politicians, and he doesn't care what side of the aisle they are on.
Sorry Seth - your language and reasoning skills failed you starting in the seventh grade. Please leave this conversation to the adults.
Jon Stewart exposed Jim Cramer for what he is and has been, a dishonest liar. Cramer likes to pretend that he fights for the little people, all the while he does everything in his power and knowlege to take advantage of them. In short, Cramer is a phony who is in denial. I hope Cramers audience sees him for what he is, NOT TRUSTWORTHY. It goes far beyond making 'some bad calls'. To the Jon Stewart Show...Don't let up on him. Do you have any idea how many inexperienced investors trust him. How many people have lost substancial money because they were stupid enough to trust him. In a sense, Cramer is no different than Bernie Madeoff.
CNBC SHOULD PULL CRAMERS SHOW. THE 2006 TAPES SHOW CRAMER TO BE AN OUTRIGHT DISHONEST LIAR, WITH NO REMORSE.
One more thing. The SEC should investigate Cramer. He stated in the 2006 taped interview, that he did/ attempted to manipulate the stock market by planting stories of companies that he held stock positions in. That is a felony.
