'Grey's Anatomy' exodus? Knight and Heigl moving on

Actor James Pickens Jr, who plays Dr Richard Webber on the ABC show, confirmed the two were leaving.“Yes, she is,” he said when asked whether Heigl will be leaving the ABC hospital drama. “Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best.” Pickens also confirmed that Knight is on his way out. “He’s going too,” Pickens said. “He just wanted to pursue other career paths.” Heigl complained over storylines in the past and removed her name from Emmy consideration last year, earning her many detractors.Knight complained about lack of screen time.
