TV5MONDE airs live 34th Annual César Awards

Ecoutez s'il vous plait: TV5MONDE USA, America’s only 24/7 French language channel, will air the live broadcast of The 34th Annual César Awards.
Conducted by the French Academy of Film Arts and Sciences, the awards show will air live on the channel on February 27 beginning at 8:30 pm EST / 5:30 pm PST. Actor Antoine de Caunes will serve as host.
Best Foreign Film nominees include:
Eldorado, directed by Bouli Lanners;
Gomorra, directed by Matteo Garrone;
Into the Wild, directed by Sean Penn;
Le silence de Lorna, directed by Jean-Pierre et Luc Dardenne;
There Will be Blood, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson;
Two Lovers, directed by James Gray
Waltz with Bashir, directed by Ari Folman
Best French Film nominees are:
Oscar nominated Entre les murs (The Class), directed by Laurent Cantet, produced by Carole Scotta, Caroline Benjo;
Il y a longtemps que je t’aime ( I’ve Loved You So Long), directed by Philippe Claudel, produced by Yves Marmion;
Mesrine, directed by Jean-François Richet, produced by Thomas Langmann;
Paris, directed by Cédric Klapisch, produced by Bruno Lévy;
Le premier jour du reste de ta vie (The First Day of The Rest of Your Life), directed by Rémi Bezançon, produced by Eric Altmayer, Nicolas Altmayer, Isabelle Grellat;
Séraphine, directed by Martin Provost, produced by Gilles Sacuto, Miléna Poylo
Un conte de Noël ( A Christmas Tale), directed by Arnaud Desplechin, produced by Pascal Caucheteux.
Best Actor nominees include Vincent Cassel (Mesrine) François-Xavier Demaison (Coluche, l’histoire d’un mec), Guillaume Depardieu (Versailles), Albert Dupontel (Deux jours à tuer) and Jacques Gamblin (Le premier jour du reste de ta vie).
Seeking the Best Actress award will be: Catherine Frot (Le crime est notre affaire), Yolande Moreau (Séraphine), Kristin Scott Thomas (Il y a longtemps que je t’aime), Tilda Swinton (Julia) and Sylvie Testud (Sagan).
TV5MONDE USA aims to bring the U.S. audience programming that includes new and classic French-language films, documentaries, event coverage and international news shows.
